In this edition of the ASVAB Electronics Information study guide, we looked at everything you need to know to prepare for the exam. We began the guide by discussing the nature of the exam itself – the quantity of questions and time allotted – before moving on to talk about the importance of the exam from a MOS score perspective. Thereafter, we focused on three core areas, each of which actively appears on the ASVAB Electronics Information exam on an annual basis.

The next section focuses on self-assessment questions. These questions are primarily based on the material you’ve just studied – so take the time to go through them one-by-one, while making an active effort to solve each problem. The good thing about the ASVAB Electronics is that it can become quite easy to round down the potential answers for a given question, even if you know a small amount of theory. Unlike the general science exam, there isn’t too much material to grasp; meaning that extra hour or two of study can make a significant long-term impact to your mark.

Further to this, try not to worry if you get answers wrong in the quiz. The purpose of the quiz is, after all, not to determine what you got right, but to determine what you get wrong. This latter information is important as it allows you to identify areas of weakness. You can, thereafter, adjust your study schedule to reflect this imbalance, meaning you can correct it and, consequently, score better on the next quiz. This will, of course, take some time, but it’s the best long-term strategy to score well in the electrical information exam. As you are in direct competition with others, it’s integral that you achieve the highest score you can – something you will have no problem achieving with the correct application of these resources.
